At Mijocama you come to relax, so here we are in the woods and there is no Wi-Fi and the electricity supply is limited to a generator running for a few hours in the evening, mainly to charge the batteries and operate our pumps.
Dogs are welcome, but they must be tied up, under control and quiet! We will not tolerate any excessive noise or shouting and no music outside the cottage! Our cottages are comfortable, fully equipped and functional with propane stoves and refrigerators, battery-powered "LED" lighting, and running water with hot water. When you leave, the premises of your stay must be left in the condition in which you found them on your arrival.People who enjoy camping can set up their tent in any season on one of our wilderness camping sites. Please note that meals are not included in our prices. Mijocama only offers the "European plan", which means that you have to bring your food. With the exception of the Marina, all our cottages comes with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower. Although these cottages have a refrigerator, we suggest that you bring coolers for your beverages (ice is available on site). Every cottage also has an exterior BBQ with a propane tank. The cost of accommodation in a cottage is calculated on the rental of one or more cottages and not by individuals, except if the number of people exceeds the capacity of the particular cottage. During the deer hunting season at Mijocama our regular accommodation rates do not apply for hunters. Please consult our hunting page for more information. Fishing rights are included with the cottage or camping site rental (except for the speckled and rainbow trout fishing). Boats and motors are not included with your cottage or camping site rental. Please be advised that we do not sell fishing and hunting licenses on site. You can purchase them in "Gracefield" or at the "Dépanneur BG Caron" convenience store, located 10 kilometers from Mijocama, just before the Pointe-Comfort turn-off on the highway. Mijocama is easily accessible by automobile. The last 10 kilometers are on a well maintained gravel road. |
